AIxCrypto Unveils Robot Rental Platform and Identity Network at Automate 2026

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — At Automate 2026, North America's largest automation and robotics exhibition, Nasdaq-listed AIxCrypto (AIXC) presented a contrarian view: most robots generate revenue only once, at the point of sale. The company argues that the more significant opportunity lies in the post-sale lifecycle.

During the event, AIxCrypto unveiled two offerings: RoboShare, a marketplace for renting robots, and AIXC01, an infrastructure layer designed to enable robots and AI agents to participate in broader network activities. Both initiatives fall under the company's "Silicon Economy" vision, which envisions machines that continue to create value and data long after delivery, rather than being merely built and sold.

Why a Robot's Working Life Shouldn't End at the Sale

AIxCrypto's strategy is anchored in the concept of the "Robot Second Life Cycle," which identifies three sources of post-sale value: increased machine utilization, extended service life, and the monetization of operational data. Jay Sheng, the company's president, stated, "We believe the larger opportunity begins after deployment." This philosophy is operationalized through RoboShare and AIXC01.

RoboShare: Renting Out Robotic Capacity

RoboShare launched publicly on June 22 at RoboShare.com. The platform allows businesses to rent an entire robot or book a specific task, avoiding the need to purchase hardware outright. Conversely, owners with idle equipment can generate income by making their robots available for rent.

The service addresses two pain points simultaneously: underutilized robots and rising labor costs. Initial operations are in Los Angeles and San Francisco, with New York planned next. A "City Partner" program will enlist local operators to manage training and customer acquisition as the service expands into new markets.

Looking ahead, AIxCrypto intends to develop standards for the resale market, including inspection and valuation protocols, with a pre-owned robotics business slated for the future.

AIXC01: Infrastructure for Autonomous Assets

While RoboShare focuses on deploying machines, AIXC01 concentrates on tracking and verifying their usage. It provides the infrastructure layer that allows robots and AI agents to engage in services, tasks, and network activities rather than operating in isolation.

The system comprises four components: verifiable identity for each machine, tamper-resistant performance records, controlled access to network tasks, and a settlement layer that coordinates activity. AIxCrypto emphasizes that this is not a typical crypto project; the data feeding the system originates from real-world machine operations, not purely on-chain activity.

Eyeing Drones Next

AIxCrypto has outlined expansion beyond ground robots into aerial platforms. The company contends that drones face identical challenges—verifying usage, tracking value over time, and enabling economic participation—but with an advantage: flight data is already digital from day one, facilitating the transition. This initiative is branded as "Ground-air Integration," and AIxCrypto views its US base as beneficial for navigating forthcoming regulations on low-altitude drone operations.

What the Announcement Adds Up To

RoboShare and AIXC01 address complementary facets of the same problem. RoboShare increases robot utilization, while AIXC01 provides the tracking and verification layer. Through its drone plans, AIxCrypto aims to replicate this model for aerial vehicles.

Collectively, these initiatives reflect a core belief: a robot's value, in AIxCrypto's view, should not end on the day it is sold.
